In Messines we can deliver a unique personal experience. The International School for Peace Studies and all its associated projects, is dedicated to the commemoration of all those who fell in the Battle of Mesen/Messines and to all those from all parts of the Island of Ireland who were lost in the Great War, and have established a major Peace and Reconciliation initiative in that area.
Our aim is to resolve the deep differences between the two communities in Northern Ireland and between North and South. We will have succeeded when we have created a society based on mutual respect and tolerance, brought together the talents of our two communities into one workforce. and the two communities working together towards agreed social and economic solutions.
Business can inspire and support the necessary impetus for people to come together on the shop floor and in their communities, creating the right environment to develop and advance the concept and reality of a single workforce, for the betterment of all.
Corporate business is uniquely placed to act as the spur and motivator, and supporter, of this incredibly challenging work which we all must tackle to create the Society we all long for.
